Pork meat of Italian origin mixed with white wine, salt, pepper and fresh garlic, wrapped in the thick casing from which it takes its peculiar name and that favours the slow and homogeneous curing of this meat.
The distinctive characteristic of Zia is the tempting garlic aroma that emanates when it is cut- soft slices of genuine flavour that directly stimulate your nose and palate.
Garlic, the bond linking Zia to the region, is, in fact, an ancient plant widely cultivated in the countryside of Ferrara, present in almost every dish of our traditional cuisine.
